Texas Congressional Redistricting Controversy (a/k/a "Texasgate")
A redistricting law was signed by Governor Perry on October 12, 2003, changing Texas congressional districts. The law passed during Third Special Session of Texas Legislature after Democratic legislators fled the state to prevent a quorum in House and Senate during prior two special sessions.
